Also the fire exits are blocked with stadium seating at the back of the concert hall which probably violates safety codes. Also, we think River City is probably violating OSHA's acceptable decibal levels with the deafening sound at this concert. Shame on the management of River City who did nothing to protect our rights as customers. So my husband paid over $400 dollars to take me to a concert which I couldn't see. It was a group of around 8 people, and the management did NOTHING, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Then, the people 2 rows in front of us stood up through the entire concert, blocking the view of several rows behind them. Riverwind is about 15 miles SE from there, at the Intersection of I-35 and state highway 9. The only casino on the road, I 44, is at exit 37, and is called the Newcastle Casino, at, well, Newcastle, Oklahoma. When Dwight Yoakam came on at 9 pm, the sound was way off, too loud, so that it drowned out his voice. The original reviews said the 'saw' the casino on the side of the road while traveling from Oklahoma City to Lawton. This travesty went on for almost an hour. They brought out a horrible warm up guy named Matt Whipkey who was off key, and the sound was so deafening that I had to cover my ears. Tonight's concert was scheduled for 8 pm. The first was Merle Haggard and the 2nd was Loretta Lynn and they were both enjoyable. My husband and I attended the Dwight Yoakam concert at River City tonight and we had such a bad experience that we doubt we'll ever go to another concert there.
